What the local contest means

These seats govern the high-school district, which is separate from Roseville City School District serving younger students. Different trustee areas have different voters and cannot be combined. Results remain semi-official until the canvass.

Why the results are not final

Placer County Elections lists this as its election-night semi-official report, data refreshed November 4 at 12:16 a.m. Pacific. The report states all assigned election-night precincts have reported in these races. However, further eligible mailed, provisional or otherwise verified ballots may be processed in the official canvass. The counts and rankings are not certified, and no November 5 post-election tally is claimed here.
