Roseville Electric Rates Effective July 2026 Include $30 Base Charge and Tiered Usage Pricing

ROSEVILLE — November 3, 2026. Roseville Electric Utility’s current residential schedule lists a $30 monthly basic service charge effective July 1, 2026, plus energy charges based on consumption.

Tier one and tier two

The utility publishes a Tier 1 energy charge of 14.69 cents per kilowatt-hour for the first 500 kWh monthly and a Tier 2 charge of 19.12 cents for use beyond 500 kWh.

Additional rate components

The posted table lists renewable energy, greenhouse gas, hydroelectric and state surcharges, so the final amount is not simply kWh multiplied by a single tier price. Solar customer compensation follows separate rates.

How residents can estimate a bill

A household can review its prior monthly kWh use and compare it to the current utility rate schedule. Roseville Electric is city-owned; do not substitute PG&E’s pricing for Roseville Electric service addresses.
